Calgary Pro Musica is proud to welcome you to our 49th season in the beautiful Eckhardt-Grammatté Hall! This year’s lineup features exceptional ensembles from across Canada and around the world. Highlights include the return of Canada’s renowned Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra with their dazzling Principal Guest Director, Rachel Podger, and the Pacifica Quartet, joined by Calgary’s Cantaré Children’s Choir for the Canadian premiere of a new work for string quartet and children’s choir. We’re also thrilled to present several Calgary debuts, including Dreamers’ Circus—featuring Danish String Quartet violinist Rune Tonsgaard Sørensen—along with the Busch Trio, and the Mandelring and Formosa Quartets. The season concludes with the return of the Manhattan Chamber Players performing an exciting mixed chamber music program.
